Amanda Nicole Ortiz
Amanda grew up in Southern California. Starting at a young age, she has worked in the beauty industry since 2005. While in high school it all started when she explored her love for makeup working at the Ulta beauty store, and shortly after the Benefit cosmetics sales counter preforming brow shaping.
After achieving her cosmetology license in 2007, Amanda worked full time in salons. She assisted in high end celebrity clientele salons, assisting the top hair colorists in Beverly Hills such as Johnny Ramirez and Ahn Co Tran.
Eventually moving into the freelance world, she then worked assisting beauty artists on various commercials, campaigns, and e-commerce photoshoots specializing in fashion and lifestyle.
Since, Amanda is working as a freelance hair and makeup artist. She has worked with a variety of clients including Urban Decay, Amo denim, Nike, Adidas, Hurley, Girlfriend Collective, PacSun, Brixton, Vans, Frame, Glassons, New Balance, and Windsor.
Local to Los Angeles but always open to travel, Amanda is eager to take on new challenges and opportunities while helping to collectively bring together creative ideas into a reality for new clients.
